学界关于列斐伏尔的研究往往聚焦于其日常生活批判与空间生产理论，但是在日常生活、时间与空间的复杂关系下，从“节日”到“瞬间”和“节奏”，列斐伏尔的文本中始终关切着现代社会系统中的时间机制问题。日常生活是节奏的发生场所，“节奏”这一概念在时间纬度上标划了日常生活批判理论，并在时空关系中体现了现代都市的微观生产机制。反观当下，社会节奏的加速使得自然的循环时间与工业的线性时间陷入失衡，在技术、传媒的影响下都市现实中的日常生活与节奏已然全面异化。回到日常生活批判的第二卷，在列斐伏尔看来，时间序列上的“瞬间”以其意向创构摆脱了僵死的线性时间观，指向了日常生活内在的多重可能性和人的总体性，从而在审美意义上具备了革命解放的力量。

Scholarly studies of Lefebvre have often focused on his critique of everyday life and his theory of space production, but in the complex relationship between everyday life, time and space, from the festival to the moment and the rhythm, Lefebvre's texts have always been concerned with the mechanisms of time in modern social systems. However, Everyday life is the place where rhythms take place, and the concept of the rhythm demarcates the critical theory of everyday life in the latitude of time and embodies the micro-production mechanism of the modern metropolis in spatial and temporal relations. In contrast, the accelerated pace of society has led to an imbalance between the cyclical time of nature and the linear time of industry, and the daily life and rhythm of urban reality have been completely alienated under the influence of technology and media. Returning to the second volume of the Critique of Everyday Life, in Lefebvre's view, the moment in the time sequence, with its intentional creation, breaks away from the rigid linear view of time, and points to the inherent multiplicity of possibilities in everyday life and the totality of human beings, thus possessing the power of revolutionary emancipation in the aesthetic sense.
