在大革命失败后的中国共产主义运动低潮期，思想文化界掀起了继五四运动时期以来又一次唯物史观的研究与传播热潮。在这次热潮中，以李达为代表的中国马克思主义者逐渐成长与壮大，面对反马克思主义者对唯物史观的话语攻击，中国共产党的马克思主义话语权建设的现实困境，以及唯物史观重点传播场域的变化，他们试图通过建构唯物史观中国化的话语体系，彰显唯物史观的理论与现实价值，扩大话语影响力。1937年，由李达撰写，上海笔耕堂书店出版发行的《社会学大纲》超越了苏联话语和中国早期机械话语，从形式到内容初步构建了唯物史观中国化的话语体系，代表了1927年至1937年间中国学者在唯物史观研究与体系化构建上的较高水平。在体系构建上，该书以探索中国革命道路的公共话题为话语目标，以“实践的唯物论”为根本主线，立足马克思主义哲学的整体性视角，实现了唯物史观由零散的只言片语向系统化的话语体系的转变。在内容阐释上，则在生产力与生产关系、经济基础与上层建筑以及阶级斗争等唯物史观主要理论命题中彰显了“革命逻辑”，实现了由具有机械色彩的经济决定论向具有辩证唯物性质的历史观的蜕变。该书标志着中国马克思主义者对唯物史观的研究进入到了一个新阶段，影响了中国共产党主要领导人的哲学思想与对新民主主义革命道路的选择。这一对唯物史观理论进行体系化与革命化建构的努力，有助于为构建新时代中国特色的哲学社会科学话语体系提供经验支撑与现实启示。

During the low tide of the Chinese Communist movement after the failure of the Great Revolution, the scholars set off the second upsurge of research and dissemination of historical materialism since the May Fourth Movement. Faced with the anti-Marxist discourse attack, the dilemma of the construction of the Marxist discourse power of the CCP, and the changes of the discourse field, the Chinese Marxists represented by Li Da tried to increase the discourse influence and highlight the theoretical and practical value of historical materialism by constructing a Chinese-style discourse system of historical materialism. The "Sociology Outline" written by Li Da and published by Shanghai Bigengtang Bookstore in 1937, constructed a Chinese-style discourse system, which represented the highest level of the systematic construction of historical materialism from 1927 to 1937. It took the public topic of exploring the road of Chinese revolution as the discourse goal, and took "practical materialism" as the basic main line. It changed historical materialism from a fragmentary words to a systematic discourse system, which was based on the holistic perspective of Marxist philosophy. In terms of content interpretation, the "revolutionary logic" was highlighted in the main theoretical propositions of historical materialism, such as productive forces and production relations, economic foundation and superstructure, and class struggle, which transformed the theory from a mechanically economic determinism to a historical view of dialectical materialism. The "Sociology Outline" marks a new stage of the Chinese Marxists’ study of historical materialism, which has influenced the philosophical thinking of the main leaders of the CCP and the choice of the new democratic revolution.The effort to construct historical materialism discourse system is benefit to provide empirical support and practical inspiration for the construction of the Discourse System of Philosophy and Social Sciences with Chinese Characteristics in the new era.
