The objective of this research is to determinants of corporate cash holding in Tanzania enlisted on the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange over the period 2011-2019. Population of this research is all non-banking firms on the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange. The sampling method is purposive. The study hypothesis was tested using multiple regressions of panel data by employing a random effect model. The results show that profitability and firm size have positive and significant relationships with cash holding whereas leverage and dividend have a negative influence on corporate cash holdings. |
