文化是一个国家凝聚力与民族创造力的重要源泉,不仅体现着这个国家的“软实力”, 还体现出其文化核心价值观对世界的影响力与吸引力。中国文化是中国的身份认同和本质特征的核心体现,是世界文明的重要组成部分,为世界文化的发展丰富与创新做出了杰出的贡献。中国电影是具有悠久历史和深厚传统的中华文化的一部分,在当今中国已经成为最具显性、最鲜明的一种文化标签。在文化趋于全球化发展的今天,电影在世界范围内的传播始终处于一种不平衡状态,以好莱坞为代表的西方电影在世界影坛始终占据主动,而中国电影在“西强东弱”的国际传播格局中一直处于劣势,总体来说,中国电影国际影响力与国际地位的“低迷状态”一直没有发生根本改观,现实状况迫切地需要我们对此提出有针对性的解决方案,以指导中国电影产业的良性发展。著名学者黄会林教授提出的“第三极文化”战略构想,为中国电影的发展提供了强大的理论支持。在中国面向世界观众传播的中国电影与电影文化的过程中,“第三极文化”的核心内容和文化内涵不仅是中国电影的价值基础,还是推助中国电影进一步发展的强大精神力量,更是我们在国际传播格局之中必须坚守的道路与方向,赋予了当代中国电影在世界传播格局中的现实意义与文化使命。因此,以“第三极文化”理论为依据的中国电影国际传播策略研究,是站在新的理论高度对中国电影的文化立场、文化价值、文化精神提出了提纲挈领的总结,为政府决策、行业规范、产业进步提供一个可供借鉴的建设性策略,并以此为目标,指导中国电影在国际传播格局中开创一个全新的发展空间。

Culture is the main source of a country’s cohesion and creativity. It represents not only the country's "soft power", but also reflects the core values of its influence and attraction on the world. Chinese culture is the core reflection of identity and essential characteristics, and an important part of the world civilization, and has made an outstanding contribution to the development and innovation of the world's culture. The Chinese films have a long history and profound traditions, is part of Chinese culture. In today's China, Chinese films have become the most dominant and distinctive cultural label.With the trend of culture globalization, the spreading of the film around the world has been in a state of imbalance. The western films represented by the Hollywood films dominate the world’s film industry, while the Chinese films have been in a low position in the "west-stronger-than-east" international communication pattern. In general, the international influence and the “sluggish” status of Chinese films have never fundamentally changed. The realities urge us to propose targeted solutions, guiding the Chinese film industry through a healthy development.The "third pole culture" strategic vision suggested by the renowned scholar and professor Huang Huilin, provides a strong theoretical support for the development of the Chinese film. In the process of China’s spreading of Chinese films and film culture to the world, the core contents and cultural implications of the "third pole culture" are not only the value basis of the Chinese films, but also a powerful spiritual force to push the further development of the Chinese films. It is the road and direction what we must stick to in the international communication pattern, endowing Chinese films a practical significance and cultural mission. Therefore, the strategy research of China films’ international communication based on the "third pole culture" theory, standing in a new theoretical height, summaries the Chinese films cultural standpoints, cultural values, cultural spirits, and provides for policymakers, industry norms, industrial updating a constructive strategy for reference and as an objective, guiding the Chinese films in the international communication pattern to create a new space for development.
