近年来,新冠肺炎疫情在全球范围内的持续蔓延使得线上教学可以充分发挥其打破时空限制的巨大优势,线上教学变得日益重要。笔者于2021年9月至12月在一个美国华裔儿童中文网络教学机构担任中文教师,应家长的要求,选用了国内教育部组织编写的《语文》(三年级下册)作为教材,它与一般的海外中文教学所使用的教材有较大的不同,因此在教学中应该采用什么样的教学方法顺利完成教学任务成为亟待解决的问题。

本研究以X机构的3名9-13岁的美国华裔儿童为教学对象,结合前人的研究成果、教学对象以及教材的特点,尝试将图片教学法、游戏教学法、问答法和语境法这四种教学方法应用在词汇教学的释义、说明用法和操练环节中,通过学生的课堂测试与问卷调查结果、教师的课堂观察与课后反思分析其教学效果,并对使用部编版语文教材进行美国华裔儿童线上词汇教学提出相关建议。

本论文共分为五章。第一章为绪论,论述了选题缘起、研究意义、国内外的相关研究成果、理论基础、研究目标、研究内容及研究方法。第二章为美国华裔儿童线上词汇教学的前期准备,对教学机构、教学对象以及教材的情况进行了重点介绍。第三章为四种词汇教学方法在词汇教学中的运用及分析,基于具体的教学内容、教学原则、教学环节及教学目标,分别选取名词、动词、形容词、副词与连词中的词语教学作为案例,展示教学设计和实施的过程,并结合教学录像反思教学效果。第四章为四种词汇教学方法的教学效果评价,对学生的课堂测试及问卷调查结果进行分析。第五章为结语,总结出本研究的结论并提出相应的教学建议。

本研究得出的结论为:1.四种词汇教学方法有助于学生掌握生词;2.四种词汇教学方法各有侧重,搭配使用效果更佳;3.游戏教学法与问答法更有利于提高线上教学的交互性。

笔者根据上述结论与教学实际,分别对四种词汇教学方法、说明词汇用法环节、线上教学以及针对华裔学生的部编版语文教材的使用提出了具体的建议。

外文摘要:

In recent years, the continuous spread of the COVID-19 around the world has enabled online teaching to make full use of its huge advantages in breaking the limitation of time and space, online teaching has become increasingly important. From September to December 2021, the author worked as a Chinese teacher in a Chinese online teaching institution for Amecican ethnic Chinese children in the United States. At the request of parents, the author selected “Chinese (Volume 2 of Grade 3)”, compiled by the Ministry of Education in China, as the teaching material. It is quite different from the teaching materials used in general overseas Chinese teaching. Therefore, what kind of teaching method should be used in teaching to successfully complete the teaching task has become an urgent problem to be solved.

This study takes 3 Amecican ethnic Chinese children aged 9-13 years from the X institution as the teaching objects. Combined with the previous research results and the characteristics of teaching objects and teaching materials, the study attempts to apply four teaching methods to the meaning explanation, usage explanation and practice of vocabulary teaching: picture teaching method, game teaching method, question and answer teaching method and context teaching method. This study analyzes the teaching effect through the results of students' classroom tests and questionnaires, teachers' classroom observation and after-class reflection, and also puts forward relevant suggestions for online vocabulary teaching for Amecican ethnic Chinese children using the Chinese textbooks compiled by the Ministry of Education.

This paper consists of five chapters. The first chapter is an introduction, which discusses the origin, significance, relevant research results, theoretical basis, research aims, research content and research methods. The second chapter is the preparation of online vocabulary teaching for Amecican ethnic Chinese children, whitch mainly introduces the teaching institutions, teaching objects and teaching materials. The third chapter is about the application and analysis of four vocabulary teaching methods in vocabulary teaching, based on the specific teaching content, teaching principles, teaching links and teaching aims, selecting the words teaching in nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs and conjunctions as cases to show the teaching design and implementation process, and reflect on the teaching effect in combination with the teaching video. The fourth chapter is the evaluation of the teaching effect of the four vocabulary teaching methods, carrying out analysis of the students' classroom tests and questionnaire results. The fifth chapter summarizes the conclusions of this study and puts forward corresponding teaching suggestions.

The conclusions of this study are as follows: 1.Four vocabulary teaching methods help students master new words; 2.Each of the four vocabulary teaching methods has its own emphasis, and the effect of collocation is better; 3.Game teaching method, question and answer teaching method are more conducive to improving the interactivity of online teaching.

Based on the above conclusions and teaching situation, the author puts forward specific suggestions on the four vocabulary teaching methods, the link of explaining vocabulary usage, online teaching and the use of Chinese textbooks compiled by the Ministry of Education in China for Amecican ethnic Chinese children.
