《官话类编》是清末民初时期来华传教士狄考文编写的汉语教科书，是早期记录汉语官话口语的一部重要著作。全书以当时的官话口语为教学内容，收录了大量贴近实际生活、口语化特征显著的官话语料。作者还以两列/三列并行排列词的形式记录了南京官话、北京官话和山东方言在一些词汇上的区别。除了明确标注的山东方言词语外，书中所使用的一些词语和句式等也具有山东方言的特点。本研究以《官话类编》中的山东方言为研究对象，梳理本书中的山东方言词汇、语法现象，并对其中一些具有典型性的词汇和语法现象进行分析。主体内容包括以下四部分：

第一章绪论介绍本研究的研究缘起、有关《官话类编》和山东方言的研究现状、研究的目的、意义以及研究所采用的方法步骤等。

第二章探究《官话类编》的方言背景，从狄考文本人的汉语学习过程和汉语使用环境以及《官话类编》一书的编写过程、语料来源这两个方面考察《官话类编》的成书背景，发现山东方言对本书的编写过程影响较大；在此基础上整理《官话类编》中的山东方言词汇和语法现象，对该书的山东方言词汇和语法特征进行概述。

第三章对《官话类编》中的山东方言词汇现象进行个案研究。在对《官话类编》中的山东方言词汇进行整理的基础上，选取具有典型性或独特性的山东方言词语及词类进行个案分析，发现《官话类编》中的山东方言词汇特征与胶东方言的一致性较高；山东方言中的部分词类与普通话相比呈现出较为鲜明的方言特色；部分山东方言词语与普通话中的词语形式一致，词义相近，但在具体词义和用法上与普通话有细微差别，需要细致区分。

第四章对《官话类编》中的山东方言语法现象进行个案研究。选取山东方言中特殊的比较句与“和/跟+人称代词+两个”“V/A+人”两类特殊的语法结构进行研究发现，山东方言中部分特殊的语法现象与普通话及其他方言中的类似用法既有相同之处和内在关联，又有其独特的特点。

通过对《官话类编》中山东方言词汇、语法现象的整体考察以及个案分析，可以发现《官话类编》虽为官话口语教材，但在编写过程中受到山东方言影响，语料中包含许多山东方言特有的词汇和语法现象。通过对这些词汇和语法现象的考察和研究可以探究清末民初时期的山东方言特征，对现有山东方言研究成果进行补充。

A Course of Mandarin Lessons--Based on Idiom is a Chinese textbook compiled by the missionary Calvin Wilson Mateer who came to China in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. It is an important work that records a variety of Chinese Mandarin in the early days. The book takes the spoken Mandarin at that time as the teaching content, and collects a large number of Mandarin corpora that are close to real life and have significant colloquial characteristics. The author also records some lexical differences among Nanjing Mandarin, Beijing Mandarin and Shandong dialect in the form of two-column / three-column parallel words. In addition to the clearly marked Shandong dialect components, some words and sentence patterns recorded in the book also have the characteristics of Shandong dialect. This research takes Shandong dialect in A Course of Mandarin Lessons--Based on Idiom as the research object, sorts out the vocabulary and grammar phenomena of Shandong dialect in this book, and analyzes some typical vocabulary and grammar phenomena. The main content includes the following four parts :

Chapter one introduces the origin of this research, the research status at home and abroad, the purpose and significance of the research, and the research methods and steps.

Chapter two explores the dialect background of A Course of Mandarin Lessons--Based on Idiom, examines the background of this book from the two aspects: the Chinese learning process and Chinese using environment of Calvin and the compiling process and corpus source of this book, finds that the lexical features of Shandong dialect in A Course of Mandarin Lessons--Based on Idiom are highly consistent with Jiaodong dialect. On this basis, the vocabulary and grammar phenomena of Shandong dialect in A Course of Mandarin Lessons--Based on Idiom are sorted out, and the vocabulary and grammar characteristics of Shandong dialect in the book are summarized. 

Chapter three conducts case studies of the vocabulary phenomenon of Shandong dialect in A Course of Mandarin Lessons--Based on Idiom. On the basis of sorting out the Shandong dialect in the this book, the typical or unique Shandong dialect phenomenon is selected for case analysis. It is found that the vocabulary characteristics of Shandong dialect in A Course of Mandarin Lessons--Based on Idiom are highly consistent with Jiaodong dialect. Some parts of speech in Shandong dialect show distinct dialect characteristics compared with Mandarin ; some Shandong dialect words are consistent with the words in Mandarin in terms of form and meaning, but they are slightly different from Mandarin in terms of specific meaning and usage.

Chapter four conducts case studies on the grammatical phenomena of Shandong dialect in A Course of Mandarin Lessons--Based on Idiom. The special comparative sentences and two special grammatical structures in Shandong dialect are selected to study and analyze the special grammatical phenomena in the grammar of Shandong dialect. It is found that some special grammatical phenomena in Shandong dialect have similarities and internal connections with similar usages in Mandarin and other dialects, and have their own unique characteristics.

In summary, through the overall investigation and case analysis of the vocabulary and grammatical phenomena of Shandong dialect in the A Course of Mandarin Lessons--Based on Idiom, it can be found that although the A Course of Mandarin Lessons--Based on Idiom is a textbook for spoken mandarin, it is influenced by Shandong dialect in the process of compilation. The corpus contains many unique vocabulary and grammatical phenomena of Shandong dialect. Through the investigation of these lexical and grammatical phenomena, we can explore the characteristics of Shandong dialect in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, and supplement the existing research results of Shandong dialect.
