研究者对来自中国北京的1120 名中国高中生了进行调查，探究亲子生涯一致性是否对父母生涯期待与青少年生涯发展（生涯规划及生涯自我同一性状态）的关系起到调节作用。研究表明，青少年感知的与父母的生涯同一性调节了父母期待与生涯规划，及父母期待与生涯自我同一性状态之间的关系。亲子生涯一致性水平更高时，感知到的父母期待对生涯规划以及生涯自我同一性积极作用更强。另外，亲子生涯一致性对生涯规划与生涯自我同一性状态的调节作用不存在显著差异。这些作用在控制了学生的年龄、性别、成绩、父母婚姻质量、家庭收入、父母受教育程度及学生抑郁焦虑水平后仍然存在。本文也对研究的意义和不足及对未来研究的展望进行了讨论。

The researchers surveyed 1,120 Grade 10-12 students from five high schools in Beijing, China and investigated whether adolescent-parent career congruence moderated the relationships between parental career expectations and adolescents’ career developmental outcomes (i.e., career planning and vocational identity status). Results showed that perceived congruence with parents moderated the relationship between perceived parental expectations and career planning as well as vocational identity status. Adolescent-parent career congruence magnified the positive associations between perceived parental expectations and career planning, and between perceived parental expectations and vocational identity status. In addition, the moderating effects of parent-adolescent career congruence on both relationships were not significantly different. These associations were significant after controlling for the effects of age, gender, academic achievement, parents’ marital quality, family income, parental education attainment, depression, and anxiety. A discussion about the implications and limitations of this study as well as future directions were discussed.
