20世纪90年代末,国外开始了大型教育资源库的建设,如美国教育资源门户GEN,加拿大EduSource,和澳大利亚EdNA Online,这些教育资源库的建设充分显示了当代教育信息化发展的强劲势头。在这样的国际背景下,我国一些学校和企业纷纷开始建设符合我国教师和学生需要的教育资源库。同时,我国的教育教学资源建设也在不断发展,目前已颇具成效。然而,随着教育教学资源数量的增加和应用的日益广泛,如何对这些资源进行有效地管理成为了日益突出的问题,因此建设优质的教育资源管理系统十分必要。教育资源与其它资源的主要区别在于教育资源中凝结的知识具有更明显的结构性。然而,目前的教育资源管理系统对教育资源的管理和组织方式并不支持对资源的概念化导航。另外,教师在教育资源生命周期中积累的经验知识也并未得到有效管理。因此,如何将教育资源本身蕴含的知识,和教育资源生命周期中的教师经验知识进行有效管理,按照知识结构将资源组织成有结构的导航图,是教育资源管理实践中需要考虑的课题。本文的研究目标是基于知识管理思想、采用主题地图技术优化教育资源管理,研究相应策略并设计相应系统,该系统支持教师资源使用知识的流动和管理,并能建立知识与资源的结构化联系,使教师能够根据主题结构检索和管理资源。本文的研究工作主要包括以下部分:首先,构建基于XML主题地图技术的教育资源管理系统模型,对该模型中的主要技术进行研究;第二,基于对知识管理与资源管理的关联性分析研究,将知识管理思想和技术应用于融搜索、组织、使用和评价于一体的教育资源生命周期中,探讨优化教育资源管理的策略;第三,基于上述策略进行教育资源管理系统的体系结构设计,在基于JXTA平台的P2P教育资源管理系统中开发教师资源管理模块和主题地图管理模块。前者支持教师对教育资源生成元数据记录,这些元数据记录可以对资源进行描述和定位;还支持教师记录自己的教育资源使用经验,系统将这些使用经验与资源关联起来;后者支持领域主题地图和用户个人主题地图的生成、编辑和存储,通过主体标识构建二者的映射,实现利用主题地图技术对知识和资源的组织和导航。第四,探索P2P教育资源管理系统中节点之间交换主题地图的算法。

In the recent years, educational resources management systems have attracted much attention of researchers both abroad and domestic. The building practices of educational resources management systems imply the impressive development of educational informatization, for example, GEN in U.S.A, EduSource in Canada, EdNA Online in Australia, etc. The domestic construction of educational resources has been developing and accumulating many achievements. However, as the amount of resources has been increased and the application has been spread, how to manage and organize the resources effectively has become an important problem. Therefore, it’s necessary to develop educational resources management system with high quality.Traditional educational resources management systems organize resources depending on the keywords and classification, representing in the form of tree. The organization doesn’t reflect the structure of knowledge which is contained in the resources. On the other hand, the experiences which teachers accumulate during the educational resources lifecycle have not been managed effectively. Therefore, how to manage the knowledge contained in resources and teachers’ experiences during the educational resources lifecycle, and construct structured navigation view upon resources depending on the structure of knowledge is a problem in the practice of educational resources management.The paper aims at optimizing the practice of educational resource management basing on knowledge management and Topic Maps. We explore the strategy and design related system which supports the management of teacher’s experience about resources and builds structured association between knowledge and resources.The study constructs a model of educational resources management system based on XML Topic Maps.Then, based on the association analysis of knowledge management and resource management, we apply the idea of knowledge management to the lifecycle of educational resources and explore the solution to optimize the practice of educational resources management.The system we developed can support teachers to generate metadata of resources which can describe and locate resources. Moreover, teachers can note their own experience about resources. The system also supports the building, editing and storage of Topic Maps which can organize and navigate the knowledge and resources.At last, we explore the method of exchanging Topic Maps fragment during the peers in P2P educational resources management system.
