时态是英语语法中的基础内容,而教材在英语语法学习中起着重要作用。本研究以外语教学与研究出版社的2019年版高中教材《英语(新标准)》和剑桥大学出版社的“English in mind”中的时态教学部分为研究对象,通过宏观评价和微观评价,对两个系列中的时态教学的安排、时态的呈现与练习进行比较分析。结果表明,《英语(新标准)》提供的时态复习单元较少,在用于呈现对比时态差异的部分例句缺乏语境,且习题的设计在提高学生正确使用时态的能力方面也存在不足之处。基于研究结果,本研究为教材编写者在教材使用语言质量,习题的设计方面提出了一些建议,帮助使用者掌握时态语法的形式、意义和使用。 |

Tenses are a fundamental part of English grammar.
Textbooks play an essential role in the teaching of English tenses. This study
investigates the teaching of tense in Foreign Language Teaching and Research
Press’s New Standard English (2019 edition) for Senior High School and
Cambridge University Press’s English in Mind by comparing and analyzing
the grammar teaching activities in the two series through macro evaluation and
micro evaluation on the arrangement of the teaching of tenses, and the
presentation and the practice of tenses. The results show that NSE 2019 uses
fewer units for tense reviewing, and fewer examples with contexts when
presenting the tenses, and has some weak points in the practice designed for
enhancing students’ ability to use the tenses appropriately. This paper
suggests that the textbook writers should use authentic language and contexts
as well as scientifically designed activities to help students to learn the
form, the meaning, and the use of tenses.
