认同是文化学研究的重要命题，近年来随着文化与政治的交融，政治学也越来越关注政治认同的问题。在研究政治认同时，具有某种特殊身份的群体的政治认同常常因为内涵上的独特性和外延上的明确性而备受学者的青睐。同性恋作为社会中具有特殊身份的一个群体，尽管产生时间很长，但对其在政治学意义上的研究却迟至上世纪八十年代。 回顾上世纪同性恋群体所有的政治运动，在一系列事件中，同性恋者们建构起了统一的身份认同，为最终实现运动的目标奠定了重要基础，然而在90年代以后，这些统一的身份认同又给群体的存续带来了严峻挑中。本文以同性恋群体的这一史实入手，用身份政治的相关理论重点分析同性恋群体的认同与差异问题，并最终明确少数群体在进行身份政治斗争时应当随时警惕身份政治的陷阱。
