循环图的Cayley图是一种结构简单的正则图, 在图论中具有重要的奠基作用. Cheeger常数又称等周常数, 是连通图的一个重要指标, 广泛应用于图论, 微分几何和计算机科学等学科的许多问题中. 本文介绍了Cheeger常数的定义, 理论意义以及现有的研究进展, 并从循环群的Cayley图入手, 依据Cayley图的点度进行讨论, 得到了一些图的Cheeger常数的精确值和另一些图的Cheeger常数的上界.

Cheeger constant of a graph G on n vertices, h(G), is the minimum of |∂S|/|S|, taken over all nonempty subsets S ⊂ V(G) of size at most n/2, where ∂S denotes the set of edges with precisely one end in S. We try to calculate Cheeger constant and to find its relationship of the graph from studying Cayley graphs of cyclic groups. According to different degrees of Cayley graphs, we get the exact value of Cheeger constant of some Cayley graphs, and the upper bound of Cheeger constant of some other Cayley graphs.
