Oman has been an oil dependent country and the fall in the oil price hit hard on the economy which led the country to take a diversification plan through various sources in order to generate economic stability. As a major beginning the Government of Oman transforms the fishing village Duqm to a significant industrial Park with various projects and investments from different parts of the world, China being one of the major investors in it. The study here identifies the potential of the Duqm Industrial Park to generate economic development in the country through the various projects. Chapter 1 of this study provides the introduction regarding Oman and its economy and the various projects implemented in the Duqm Industrial Park and it also gives the objective of the study. Chapter 2 covers the literature review which is collected from different sources about the various factors regarding the historical cooperation between China and Oman. As well as, the trade relationship between the two countries and One Belt One Road Initiative in Duqm Industrial Park. Chapter 3 of the research study clarifies the research methodology providing the different methods used for data collection, which includes primary and secondary data collection, which is adapted for the study through the survey done by the researcher through the preparation and distribution of questionnaire. . Chapter 4 gives the detailed description of the various projects in the Duqm Industrial Park, and the financial investments and it. In Chapter 5 the result of the data acquired through the survey is analyzed and Chapter 6 is where the findings of the study are discussed and also conclusion is provided. This chapter also includes recommendation for further development of the industrial Park and the methods that can be adopted in order to acquire more investments in the industrial estate that will better develop economic progress. This research demonstrates much significance that there are various projects in the country, but this specific project is focused towards the diversification that will enable generating economic stability of Oman
