最澄是一位高僧，日本天台宗的创始人。他也是平安初期一位承上启下的大书法家，是日本唐风书法的领袖人物之一。他的书法以晋唐为宗，承继大王之风，线条坚挺，气息清澄，颇有庙堂之气。本文通过对最澄存世书法作品的分析和对比，以形神论为研究方法，从技法层面入手，对其艺术风格做了一个全面的梳理，希望能够对晋唐书法的本质，有更为深入的了解和认知。

Saicho, an eminent Zen master, is the founder of Tiantai Sect. Also, being one of the leaders of the Japanese Tang-style calligrapher, he is a great calligrapher who connects the past and the present in the early Heian period. His calligraphy mainly focuses on the style of Dynasty Jin and Tang, inheriting the style of the great calligraphers, with his hard and upright lines and clear breath, which has the spirit of palace. Through the analysis and comparison of Saicho's extent calligraphy works, using theory of spirit-form as the research method, this paper carves out a comprehensive analysis of its artistic styles by starting from its technique level. I hope to have a deeper understanding and cognition of the essence of Jin Dynasty and Tang Dynasty's calligraphy.
