本研究在网络上挑选109名不同性别、户口所在地和家庭经济背景的被试,通过互联网对其施测刻板解释偏差问卷和外显自陈量表。研究包括两部分:实验一采用2×2两因素被试内实验设计,即以描述的行为习惯与刻板印象的一致性(一致,相反) 和描述的行为主体的地域来源(中国人,欧美等西方国家的人)为自变量,以内隐和外显刻板印象为因变量,旨在检验地域-行为习惯刻板印象及所连带的群体偏向是否存在;实验二通过操纵与刻板印象相关的信息加工(一致,相反,无加工)来考察该刻板印象的稳定性和影响因素。结果表明:⑴被试在行为习惯方面具有显著的内隐地域刻板印象(认为西方人的行为习惯好于中国人),表现出内隐的外群体偏向,而外显结果则表现内群体偏向,呈现出外显与内隐双相分离的“双重态度模型”;⑵与刻板印象一致的信息加工显著增强刻板印象强度,与之不一致的信息加工不会使之削弱;⑶按照性别、家庭收入和户口所在地分类的被试的刻板印象强度存在显著差异。

In the studies a sample of participants with heterogeneous characteristics of demography variables were administered with explicit self-report scale and Stereotypic Explanatory Bias Questionnaire on the internet. Experiment 1 applied two-factor within- subjects design with consistency between behavior description and their stereotypes, and described subjects’ native region, to verify stereotype of region related behavioral habits and associated ingroup/outgroup effect. Experiment 2 controlled related information processing to explore its stability and influential factors. Results indicated that implicit region related behavioral habits stereotype and associated outgroup bias were significant, while the explicit result was opposite, which meant a dual attitudes model; processing to information consistent with the stereotype enhanced the stereotype intensity, while processing to information inconsistent with the stereotype did not decrease it; gender, locus of registered permanent residence, family income were important moderator variables.
