本文采用 2011 年-2020 年北京大学数字普惠金融指数，基于国内省份数据，研究霍夫斯泰德六个文化维度(包括个人主义、不确定性规避、男子气概、权力距离、长期取向以及自身放纵与约束)所衡量的区域文化特征对数字普惠金融的影响，并从地区经济发展水平的角度探究其影响的异质性。研究发现，本文中用以衡量地域文化特征的霍夫斯泰德六个文化维度对地区数字普惠金融发展都存在显著影响，其中，个人主义与男子气概对地区数字普惠金融发展存在正向影响，不确定性规避、权力距离、长期取向与短期取向以及自身放纵与约束则对其存在负向影响。并且在经济发展程度不同的情况下，地域文化特征对其数字普惠金融发展的影响存在异质性。其中，男子气概指标、个人主义指标以及不确定性规避指标对经济发达地区数字普惠金融的影响更显著，权力距离指标、长期取向指标以及自身放纵与约束指标对经济落后地区数字普惠金融的影响更显著。

This article uses the Beijing University Digital Inclusive Finance Index from 2011 to 2020, based on data from domestic provinces, to study the impact of regional cultural characteristics on digital inclusive finance measured by Hofstede's six cultural dimensions (including individualism, uncertainty avoidance, masculinity, power distance, long-term orientation, and self indulgence and constraints), and explores the heterogeneity of its impact from the perspective of regional economic development level. Research has found that the six cultural dimensions of Hofstede used to measure regional cultural characteristics in this article have a significant impact on the development of regional digital inclusive finance. Among them, individualism and masculinity have a positive impact on the development of regional digital inclusive finance, while uncertainty avoidance, power distance, long-term and short-term orientations, as well as self indulgence and constraints, have a negative impact. And in different levels of economic development, there is heterogeneity in the impact of regional cultural characteristics on the development of digital inclusive finance. Among them, masculinity, individualism, and uncertainty avoidance have a more significant impact on digital inclusive finance in economically developed regions, while power distance, long-term orientation, and self indulgence and constraints have a more significant impact on digital inclusive finance in economically underdeveloped regions.
