艺术体操作为结合了艺术与体育的运动项目，逐渐受到大众、学生群体的喜爱，在 “体育、艺术2＋1项目”提倡的基础下，《中国学生艺术体操技术等级规定动作》得以面向全体学生颁布及推广。其内容按难易程度划分为10个级别，将艺术体操身体动作及器械动作，按由简到难逐渐递进的顺序编排构成。在成套中，除基本动作外，音乐作为成套动作编排中不可缺少的因素，是培养学生音乐内涵及情感表达的重要环节，也是学生综合能力发展的奠基。研究以《中国学生艺术体操技术等级规定动作》1-6级的12套音乐为研究对象，运用文献资料法、录像音乐解析法、数理统计法及专家问卷调查进行综合研究，从12首音乐的整体构成、音乐配合成套动作与器械的分析、音乐剪辑分析下，进行音乐编排特征研究，旨在为艺术体操音乐的分析上提出进一步的研究思路，对等级动作音乐选编上提出具体的意见，从而为教练员选择音乐提供参考，以及为促进我国艺术体操项目的普及提供帮助。 研究结果表明： 1.等级成套动作音乐具有以舞曲为主的风格特征；以4/4拍节奏类型、快板及小快板速度类型居多的旋律特点；乐器的音域特点主要以中、高音区的演奏为主；以多样的音乐调式呈现出了音乐的地域特征，其中多以西方的键盘乐、管弦乐演奏特色为主，并以无歌词演唱曲目较多。音乐构成的种类丰富多样、旋律的难易及复杂度在不同曲目上均有体现，如一级的简单节奏舞曲《声势律动》，以及六级的复杂节奏交响乐曲《天鹅湖》。 2.根据音乐特征分别对徒手及器械操进行分析得出：徒手操音乐节奏变化单一，配合动作级别难度的增加，音乐节拍的复杂、速度的变化、旋律的起伏转换等并未有所加难；器械操受不同器械特点的影响，音乐风格及体裁多样，但带有民族特点及民族乐器的音乐使用较少，仅占总乐曲数的16.6%。12套音乐中，部分专家提出五级徒手操音乐节奏节拍不清晰、音色质量较差，一级徒手操和球操、六级带操的音乐在选择和编排上相对较好，能够体现出音乐与器械结合的特点。 3. 整体的音乐剪辑方式较单一，所有级别的曲目仅对一首原曲目进行拼接剪辑，没有出现多曲音乐的拼接、原创音乐或是改编音乐出现，并且，五级音乐在拼接中还出现有衔接突兀、戛然而止、以及部分节奏混乱的情况。除此外，由专家反馈提出音乐随动作难度提高时，音乐本身的节奏、速度等结构也应逐渐加难、复杂，而现行的等级动作成套音乐在剪辑中并未体现出来。所以，对等级成套动作中音乐剪辑与编创上考虑并不全面，还有进一步完善的空间。
