文化心理是指特定文化活动背后的心理因素。翻译作为一种跨文化交际活动，与译者的文化心理紧密相连。本篇论文以鲁迅小说《祝福》的杨宪益英译本，蓝诗玲英译本和莱尔英译本为研究对象，探讨文化心理对翻译的影响。本研究对于完善文化心理翻译理论的构建，鲁迅作品及中国文化的传播都有着重要的作用。论文采用的研究方法包括文献综述，比较研究以及文本分析。对不同文本的比较主要从篇名翻译，人名翻译，文化负载词翻译，修辞翻译这四个方面进行。通过比较，本研究发现文化心理因素确实对翻译有影响，这种影响主要体现在不同译者的翻译特点，翻译方法，译文中注释的使用以及译文的语言风格上。从文化心理的视角分析，这些差异主要是由不同译者的母语差异，译本的创作时间，翻译的背景以及目标读者的不同造成的。受时间精力的限制，本文仅从有限的几个角度对《祝福》的不同英译本进行了比较。今后的研究可以将更多的文学作品纳入比较的范畴，并从更多的角度进行比较研究，从而得出更加综合可靠的结论。

Cultural psychology refers to the psychological factors behind certain cultural activities. As a kind of cross-culture communication, translation is closely connected with the translators’ cultural psychology. The focus of this research is the influence cultural psychology has on translation, and the research object is the three English translations of Lu Xun’s New Year’s Sacrifice by Yang Xianyi, Julia Lovell and William A. Lyell. Such a study is important in order to help perfect the construction of the cultural psychology translation theory, and contribute to the spreading of Lu Xun’s work and Chinese culture. The research approach adopted in this thesis includes literature review, comparative study and textual analysis. The analysis is mainly made from the aspects of the translation of title, the translation of characters’ name, the translation of culture-loaded terms and the translation of rhetoric. Through the comparison study, this thesis draws that cultural psychology does have an influence on translation, and the differences among different translation versions are embodied in the translator’s translation characteristics, translation methods, footnote usage and language style. From the perspective of cultural psychology, these differences are mainly caused by the translators’ mother tongue, the translation’s creation time, translation background and the target readers. Due to the limited time and energy, the aspects compared among different translations in this thesis are limited. Therefore, future studies can include more literature works in the comparative study and compare them from more aspects to draw a more reliable and comprehensive conclusion.
