在父亲角色日渐受到人们关注和重视的今天，多数研究者将关注点聚焦在父亲角色对于孩子的成长影响之上，而关注男性在养育孩子过程中的内心体验及人格成长的研究较为缺乏。本研究旨在深入作为父亲的男性的日常生活世界，探索其在养育孩子的过程中的生活体验，并基于此探究男性在这一过程中的人格成长。本研究采用深度访谈及文本分析的方法，选择了日常生活中的6 个父亲角色作为研究参与者。根据现象学的研究方法，搜集他们日常生活中的体验、觉察及反思，揭示其生活体验的主题。这些生活体验的主题包括： 1.奇迹：男性面对孩子的出生时的反应，往往没有女性的反应更加自然，他们觉得这个过程充满了神秘。每一个孩子的降生都存在着无数的偶然因素。2.摇篮与家园：在男性的生命历程中结婚和生子是非常重要的两个节点，男性在生育孩子以前，他们并不真正觉得自己有了家，而孩子的降生将家的理念与氛围深深融入男性的生活。3.最得意的作品：事业的奋斗和对于成功的追求对于任何一个男性来说都是至关重要的，但是与事业的成功相比，作为父亲的男性更认为自己一生最大的成就在于拥有了“如此美好”的孩子。4.心甘情愿的辛苦：孩子们的降生为男性们的生活带来了一定的压力，他们不得不为了全家人的生活更加努力地工作和付出。但是对于作为父亲的男性来说这是一种心甘情愿的付出，虽然辛苦，但是充满了满足和幸福。5.孩子带引父母：在这个快节奏的社会里，成人们整天忙碌于应对工作和生活的压力，但是在孩子的带引之下，很多看似“无用”的事情被纳入他们的生活当中，而正是这些事情帮助成人们回归到生命的本身，体会生活的意义。6.“报酬”就在眼前：随着时代的发展,“养儿防老”的观念似乎不再显得那么重要，很多父亲在谈到对于孩子的期待时并不强调他们在将来能够给自己带来物质上的多大的回报，更重要的是享受当下和孩子在一起的快乐与幸福。7.圆满：在提到孩子对于父亲自身生命历程中的角色时，几乎所有的受访者都会提到孩子是生命的延续，是家族的传承，孩子使自己的生命更加完整和圆满。 基于上述养育子女过程中男性生活体验的主题，研究者进一步在已有研究文献的基础之上提出了男性人格成长的主题。研究者认为这种成长就是由一般男性人格向父性人格的转变，包括：1.随孩子而来的责任感和担当：访谈中几乎所有的男性都认为，孩子的出生不仅给自己的生活带来了一定的压力和负担，同时给自己带来的更是一份成熟的责任感和担当。2.父亲角色知觉的唤醒：访谈过程中，所有的受访者都明确表示在养育孩子的过程中，他们的父亲角色知觉逐渐被唤醒，在此基础上的父亲角色参与程度也逐渐增强。3.生命里多了一份温和，增加了弹性：冲动和急躁的脾气性格几乎是每一个年轻男性的标签，但是访谈过程中大部分的受访者表示孩子的到来为他们的生命带来了一份温和。4.内在自信的成长：面对生活和工作的压力，并不是所有的男性都可以成就伟大的事业，但是所有的男性都可以成为自己孩子心目中的“伟大父亲”，孩子的包容与赞美为作为父亲的男性带来了内在自信成长的重要动力。5.对于生命的意义有了新的领悟：男性在生育孩子之前，他不能深入理解自己的过去-----父辈、祖辈；也不能深刻预知自己的未来-----自己的下一代。孩子的存在，将这些纵向存在的生命的意义延伸开来，这也使得一个男性得以真正活在当下，体会生命的本质。另外，孩子的存在，为男性打开了一扇深入理解生活的窗口，这扇窗口将更加广阔的世界引入他们的生命，使得其生命的宽度得以无限拓展。 基于对上述男性在养育子女过程中的生活体验和人格成长的主题的探究和分析，研究者认为父亲角色在男性的生命发展历程中确实起到非常重要的作用，对于这一角色的知觉和参与在很大程度上影响着男性生活的诸多方面。同时研究者反思，在整个研究过程中，男性被访者所获得的生活体验和人格的成长均是建立在其充分的角色知觉和角色参与的基础之上的，二者之间形成一个正向的循环系统。其实仍然有大部分的父亲并没有充分的角色知觉和角色参与，那么他们在整个过程中的生活体验和人格的成长有待进一步探究。

Nowadays, the role of father gets more and more attention, actually lots of researchists focus on the influence of fatherhood on children, while pay few attention on the self-improvement and inner experience of males during the process of being a father. This research focuses on exploring fathers’daily life and discovering their inner experience as well as self-improvement while being a father. The researcher used purpose sampling method and picked up 6 fathers as myresearch subjects and used in-depth interview to gather their experience, awareness, and self-reflection. The themes include：1.Miracle：Males seldom have practical response to the birth of child , they think it is so mysterious that they have their own baby and they become a father!2.Homeland：There are two important points in a male’s life that are marriage and giving birth to baby. Before they have a baby they do not really feel that they have a home, while that is the kidwho give them the feeling of home.3.Most satisfied work：It’s essential to each male to pursue success in career, but comparing to this , as fathers males think that the most important thing is that they get such a good child.4.The most willing hardship：It’s sure that the kids bring pressure to men, they need to work harder to support family. While they really feel willing to, because it’s full of happiness.5. Kids lead parents：In this fast-speed society, only the kids can lead adults to do some “useless” things, to help them get back to the essence of life.6. The rewarding is in now ： According to the development of society, the view that supporting kids is for being supported in future is becoming less important. Lots of fathers do not expect that their kids give big rewarding back to them, while enjoying the happiness together is more treasured.7.Holonomy ：When mentioning the role of kids in males’ life, almost all the research subjects feelthat they are the lasting part of their own life as well as their family. Based on those inner-experience themes mentioned, the researchers discovered the themeson self-improvement and being matured of males. Comparing to those present research , the researcher pay more attention to their inner feeling of improvement and their self-grown ups. These themes include：1.the response coming with kids：Almost all the males in interview think that the kids bring pressure to their life, but at the same time they bring the sense fo responsibility to them. They will choose more matured way to face to life and all kinds of problems as well as challenges.Actually to lots of fathers, the kid get them closely related to theworld.2.father-hood perception: most of the interviewees express that during the process ofnurturing kids, the get more and more father-hood perception and father-hood participation.3.softness and flexibility in my life:Impulsive and impatient temperament seems every young male’ label, but the arrival of the children brings a kind of gentleness for their life.In the face of a babble out one's first speech sounds tender little life, as a father,the male often have more patience and gentleness than before , they can keep calm in the face of more areas oflife itself, even life's difficulties and challenges.4.Inner confidence growth: Facing the pressures of life and work, not all men can get great accomplishments, but all men can be great in the eyesof their children, children’s acceptance and praise bring important power to inner confidencegrowth as the father of men. 5.For the meaning of life:Without fatherhood, he could notunderstand his past----parents and grandparents; also he cannot deeply predict his own future----the next generation. The presence of children extends the length of life, which also makes a man to live in the present, experience the essence of life. In addition, the presence of children, opens the window leading to understanding of life for men, this window bringsmore vast world into their lives, the width of life can get an unlimited extension. Based on those exploration on men’s inner-experience and self-growth during the process ofparenting, the researcher focused on the exploration of deep psychological feelings of this process, and fully reveals the growing significance of children for men.
