随着全球化的发展,服务贸易在世界贸易中扮演者日益重要的角色。本文旨在探讨文化距离对中国大陆与其贸易伙伴间服务贸易量的影响。基于2012-2021年的面板数据,利用GLOBE项目成果构建文化距离指标,本文通过构建修正的引力模型,分析了文化价值观和实践层面差异对服务贸易的影响。 研究结果表明,总体文化距离与服务贸易量呈显著正相关关系,其中相较于实践层面,价值观层面的文化距离对服务贸易的影响更为显著。此外,本文还考察了自由贸易协定、儒家文化圈成员身份、世界治理指数和地理距离等因素对服务贸易的影响,结果表明自由贸易协定、儒家文化圈成员身份、世界治理指数均对双边服务贸易额存在正向影响,而地理距离对服务贸易无显著效应。本研究为理解文化因素在服务贸易中的作用提供了新的视角,并为制定相关贸易政策提供了依据。 |

With the development of globalization, the role that trade in services plays in international trade is becoming increasingly prominent. This paper aims to explore the impact of cultural distance on the volume of service trade between China and its major trading partners. Based on panel data from 2012 to 2021, using the results of the GLOBE project to construct a cultural distance index, this paper analyzes the impact of differences in cultural values and practices on trade in services by constructing a modified gravity model. The research results show that there is a significant positive correlation between overall cultural distance and the volume of trade in services, with the cultural distance in social values having a more significant impact on service trade than that in practices. In addition, this paper also examines the impact of free trade agreements, membership in the Confucian Asia, the World Governance Index, and geographical distance on trade in services. The results indicate that free trade agreements, membership in the Confucian Asia, and the World Governance Index all have a positive impact on bilateral volumes of trade in services, while the impact of geographical distance on trade in services is not significant. This study provides a new perspective for understanding the role of cultural factors in trade in services and provides a basis for formulating relevant trade policies. |
