本研究考察了中国大学生大五人格对于其生涯探索和生涯决策困难的影响,重点在于探讨生涯探索的中介机制。研究者从北京、保定、成都、广州和南京的五所高校中有效回收问卷911份,多元方差分析发现生涯探索和生涯决策困难存在性别效应、专业效应、年级效应,生涯辅导课也对生涯探索有影响,而运用结构方程模型对中介效应进行检验发现,神经质直接预测生涯决策困难问卷(CDDQ)中三大类生涯决策困难,外倾性和开放性通过生涯探索中介效应预测缺乏信息,宜人性通过环境探索中介效应预测缺乏信息且又直接预测信息不一致,严谨性既通过生涯探索的中介效应又直接预测三大类生涯决策困难。最后讨论了本研究的结果和局限,并给出了对未来研究的建议。
外文摘要:
The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the Big-five Personality, career exploration and career decision-making difficulties, especially aim to examine the mediation of career exploration. 911 undergraduate student participants from 5 universities across China completed a packet of questionnaires. The result of MANOVA analysis indicates that differences existed between genders, majors and grades on career decision-making difficulties. Also career guidance course had a positive impact on it. The Structural Equation Modeling analysis was conducted to test the mediation of career exploration between personality and career decision-making difficulties. It turns out that Neuroticism directly predicted three categories of decision-making difficulties in Career Decision-Making Difficulty Questionnaire (CDDQ). Extraversion and Openness indirectly predicted Lack of Information through career exploration. Agreeableness predicted Lack of Information through environmental exploration and predicted Inconsistent Information directly. Conscientiousness was found to both directly and indirectly predicted decision-making difficulties. The limitations, implication, and suggestions for future research were discussed and given.
