2000年以来,伴随着民间古玩收藏热,有关收藏的媒体节目也不断增加,使得古玩收藏这种小众文化更加大众化。报纸和电视对古玩收藏的报道呈现出不同的偏向。在媒介技术方面,报纸更适合表现深度文化,而电视则极易忽略文化而偏向娱乐;在媒介理念方面,报纸副刊作为文化刊物的定位使之偏向文化,而以收视率为评判标准的电视节目则从内容到形式均走向娱乐。但是,报纸没有足够的受众影响力,电视由于缺少文化深度而遭到批评。为了使古玩收藏获得更好的传播效果,报纸应该挖掘深度、改变风格,电视则应当求真务实、提高文化品位。

As the heating of civil antique collection in the 20th century, the media programs about it is also on the rise, which makes antique collection, a small minority, go public. Newspapers and television reports about the antique collection are of different biases. In terms of media methodology, newspapers tend to reveal of cultural depth, while television are likely to overlook it and be entertainmentally biased; in terms of media principles, the supplement, oriented as a cultural publication, are preferable to culture, while the television program, holding the ratings as standard, bound to entertain people from form to content. However, newspapers do not have enough influence on the audience, while televisions are criticized for the lack of cultural depth. Therefore, newspapers should change the style and keep digging the culture depth, and television should be pragmatic and improve the cultural quality to better spread the culture of antique collection.
