基于此,笔者从语篇衔接与连贯角度研究该文本的翻译,从词汇的衔接、句内的衔接以及句际的衔接三个维度,分析原文使用的衔接方法,理解原文的语义语境,考虑到中英文表达习惯的差异,保留或转换衔接手段,确保译文内容和逻辑的流畅连贯,使读者能够准确接收原文要表达的信息。

Remarkable Conversations: A guide to developing meaningful communication with children and young adults who are deafblind mainly describes how to establish effective communication with the deafblind. This book gathers the teaching experience and research results of front-line teachers in Perkins School for the Blind. The introduction of its Chinese translation is of great reference value for professionals of special education in China and families who need to take care of the deafblind. In order to enable readers to truly apply the professional knowledge introduced in this book to daily life and educational activities, the translation must be accurate and coherent, so that readers can accurately understand and accept the information. In order to achieve this goal, , the author studies the differences of the coherent means between English and Chinese and the conversion, and analyze the cohesion means of the original text and its characteristics based on the characteristics of the text and the characteristics of the reader groups, and find the translation methods of the connection means on different levels. 
Therefore, the text translation is studied from the perspective of discourse cohesion and coherence. The author understands the original semantic context and analyzes the cohesion methods used in the original text from three aspects, including the cohesion among words, the cohesion inside sentences and the cohesion between sentences. Considering the differences between Chinese and English expression habits, the author retains or converts cohesion means to ensure the translation fluent and coherent and enable the readers to accurately receive the information the text expresses.
